Bedlington & District DAU371C (formerly Nottingham 371) an AEC Renown 3B3RA with Weymann H40/30F body, new in 1965. Behind is similar DAU374C.
The operator was definitely going through an AEC phase in 1977 - particularly going for Renowns. There were several examples including very many from Nottingham, some of which remained in their original livery, and some which appear to have been repainted to the same style but possibly in a slightly different shade. Vehicles from elsewhere were repainted in the same colours but in a drabber layout of green with a single cream band.
With its grille surround missing and parts of the front cowl cut away, this one looks a bit sad compared to the one behind.
