New to Yorkshire Woollen District as 409 in 1938, HD6608, along with nine others in the batch, originally had an Eastern Coachworks B32F body. It was rebodied in May 1949 with the Windover C33F body seen here and was withdrawn in 1957 passing via Colbro (dealer), Rothwell, in December 1957, and to Thornes, Bubwith, with whom it is seen here in Saville Street, Leeds loading for the service to Bridlington.
Just visible on the right is the front of West Yorkshire 965, BWT760, the rebuilt Bristol JO5G, which acted as the inspector's office and also as the waiting room.
