The AEC is an interesting vehicle for a Birmingham operator. It is a May 1950 AEC Regal 3 with Scottish Aviation C33F body, registration KOM102, owned by Newtons Coach Services who had it from new.
I am not aware of this body manufacturer coming so far south. There is a better, side on / front view of this coach on the flickr site, just type in the registration details and operator name and it will come up. You can then see the distinctive SA style.
The second coach is a Bedford with Yeates C36F body new to Gem Luxury in November 1953. I do not know how long Newtons had had it, the other Bedford /Duple I have no details for.
