An unidentified Rhondda A.E.C. Regal III with a Longwell Green B34R body. Rhondda had three batches: 64/65/97, GNY 764-766; 301-308, GTX 863-870, new in 1948 and 309-314, HTX 580-585, new in 1949.
2. KNY454
Gelligaer U.D.C. 17, KNY454, was an AEC Regal III new in 1950 with Duple B35F body rebuilt by Longwell Green in 1959 for one man operation.

3. HDR408
Rowes of Dobwalls, Cornwall were the owners of HDR408, a Leyland Royal Tiger with a Longwell Green C41C body. Built in 1953, it first entered service with the Plymouth Co-operative Society as their fleet number 531, and sold to Embankment Motors of Plymouth in 1961. In 1963 it was bought by Rowes (of Rowe "Hillmaster" chassis fame) who kept it until 1970 when it went to Deeble's of Upton Cross.

Gelligaer MTG883, fleet number 10 was one of two AEC Regal IIIs new in 1953 with Longwell Green B35F bodies. When new it had been number 12 before the 1966 renumbering.

Glen Taxis, Shipley NDW606, a Daimler CVG6 with Longwell Green H33/28R body, new to Newport Corporation as their 155 in 1957.

Gelligaer 15, RTX966, new in 1955 as number 28, was an AEC Reliance with Longwell Green B44F body. Withdrawn in 1970 it was used for spares before passing to a dealer.

8. PWO783
The next delivery to Bedwas and Machen UDC after 1952 was in 1956 when 9, PWO783 arrived. This was an AEC Regent V MD3RV with unusual Longwell Green bodywork which started off as L27/28R, then gained two more seats upstairs, then two more to end up as L31/28R.

New to Gelligaer as number 22, Longwell Green B44F bodied A.E.C. MU3RV Reliance VNY255 was withdrawn in 1972 and passed to Lewis Boys' School, Pengam in December 1972.

Newport Corporation 167, ODW303, was a Leyland PD2/40 with a Longwell Green H30/28R body new in May 1958 and was withdrawn in May 1972.

Newport Corporation 175, PDW481, a Leyland PD2/40 with a Longwell Green H30/28R body was new in September 1958 and passed to Borough of Newport Transport on 1st April 1974.

Aberdare 55, XNY411, was a Longwell Green H35/29R bodied Guy Arab IV new in 1958 as fleet number 34 being renumbered shortly after delivery.

Aberdare 58, XNY414, briefly 39 when new, was a Guy Arab IV 6LW with Longwell Green H35/29R body new in 1958, unique within the batch of five in having a Park Royal body shell built in 1954.

Former Aberdare U.D.C. 14, XNY416, a Guy Arab LUF with Longwell Green body, new in 1958. Originally in Aberdare's cream and red livery it had later passed into Cynon Valley Borough Council ownership, receiving this most dismal dark red livery.

Stockport 343, PJA913 was the first of ten Longwell Green H32/28R bodied Leyland PD2/30s delivered in 1960 and fitted, unusually - although not so for Stockport, with wind down window ventilators to the saloon windows.

Stockport Corporation bought a batch of Leyland Titan PD2/30s in 1960 that carried unusually for Stockport Longwell Green bodywork which carries more than a hint of ECW about it. 347, PJA917, is seen as 5947 in the Greater Manchester fleet in 1978 shortly before withdrawal.

GMT 5947, PJA917, a 1960 Leyland PD2/Longwell Green ex-Stockport 347. 5947 outlasted the remainder of this batch by many years and was the only one (apart from driver trainers) to receive the orange livery.
