1. LPG191
Yellow Bus Services bought LPG191 in 1947 and the Bedford OB had a Duple Vista C29F body. It was involved in a serious accident in 1952 and the body written off. It was then fitted with a Gurney Nutting C29F body resembling the Duple one as seen in Guildford (Farnham Road) Bus Station.

Contractor, Bradley of York, ran LPT717, a Gurney Nutting C33F bodied Leyland Tiger PS1/1 which they had acquired from Durham District Services, where it had been DLC93.

Grahams of Winlaton Mill, Co Durham (trading as Primrose Coaches) were operators of MUP592, a Dennis Lancet III with an imposing Gurney Nutting FC37F body, probably dating from 1951.

This 1951 Gurney Nutting C35C bodied AEC Regal Mk. IV 9821E PEH600 was part of the interesting fleet of Bassett Coachways, Tittensor, Staffordshire. It was acquired from Need of Longton.

The location for this shot is the coach park at St Ives, around 61/62. The vehicle is VMK723, a magnificent looking Gurney Nutting bodied Leyland Royal Tiger of 1951, originally new to Valiant London, but shown here with Blue Venture Coaches, Culmstock, Devon.
