O Porter, Dummer, acquired 297WPU from ER, TW & AC Lodge (Blue & Cream Coaches), High Easter in June 1968.
It was a Bedford SB3 with Duple Super Vega C41F bodywork which had been new to Lodge in May 1961 and had been withdrawn in November 1967. Porter ran it for nine years, until June 1977 and it was last reported near Bournemouth as mobile living accommodation in 1979
