Former Red & White Guy Arab III/Duple L53RD L1749, HWO342, is seen at The Old Ferry, Beachley in September, 2014.
Despite its 1949 fleet number, it was not delivered until well into 1950 according to Bus Lists on the Web. I was amazed to find that there is no picture of this bus on SCT61 despite the fact that it has been active on the preserved bus rally scene in this neck of the woods, for a number of years in recent times, having said which I can't recall having ever seen it outside of Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire.

I have a number of stories and snippets to relate on L1749 so rather than waffle on now, I will post them on the message board once the picture has appeared.
