David MacBrayne, Glasgow 92, 845HUS was one of five Bedford VAS1 with Duple (Northern) bodywork new in 1963.
Four of these were B30F when new, but one, 95 (848HUS) was built without quarter lights and a much lower seating capacity in order that it could accommodate mail and freight. There is a photo of 95 on the site and a thread explaining this in more detail.
92 passed to Highland Omnibuses as their CD50 in April 1970, and from there to Central SMT as their CS5 in July 1973. It subsequently operated for four Devon operators until its last licence expired in February 1986.
