Smith (Eagle Coachways), Trench acquired VTG739 along with two coaches in July 1962 from Lowe, Hadley when the licences of W.H. & W. Lowe were acquired. It was a Bedford SB8 with a Duple Midland B42F body which had been new in 1957 and is seen at Donnington Garrison Bus Terminus.
