Seen on a wet and miserable Cornish morning is Grenville Motors of Camborne's LBD511, a Bedford SBO with a Duple Midland B40F body.
It started life with KW Coaches, Daventry in 1955 as their B14 before passing to Oxford of Penryn (later Falmouth) in 1956. It then passed to Mundy of Camborne in 1963 before its last recorded ownership with Grenville in 1965. Thanks to John Kaye for this information.
This photo has been salvaged from a poor negative and shows the bus about to depart for Redruth on what was then a former Silver Queen Buses route.
