1. CAN408H
The first examples of Caetano coachwork in this country were two Ford chassis imported not by Moseley but by Ford dealer John Willment (Twickenham) Ltd, Rugby Road, Twickenham, Middlesex. CAN408H was imported in May 1967. This Ford R226 with a C53F body entered service with Hounslow Coaches in August 1969.
2. FHD856G
1969 was a watershed year for British coach builders as it marked the entry of Caetano into the previously insular British market. One of the first to enter service was this Bedford VAL14 owned by Dewsbury independent Stanley Gath, FHD856G.

Shadwell, Warrington, PED177G, an A E C Reliance 6MU4R built in 1969 with Caetano Lisboa C45F bodywork. The coach weighed 7 tons and 7 hundredweight unladen.

Thamesmead Motor Services XPE220G, a Bedford VAM with Caetano Bodywork, new in May 1969. This was one of the first Bedford VAMs with Caetano bodywork.

R Foster & Sons, Easington Colliery, operated DWR726H, a Caetano Cascais C45F bodied Bedford VAM built ca 1970, though acquired secondhand.

A rear view of DYG783H and XUT117J showing the different rear end treatment of the Caetano Cascais models from 1970 and 1971. DYG783H was a Bedford VAM70 new in May 1970 to Beecroft, Fewston whilst XUT117J was a Ford R192 new in March 1971 as Hargreaves, Morley 117.

Glenn Valley OKX234H, seen here on Langley Vale Road, Epsom Downs, was a Bedford VAL70 with a Caetano Estoril C53F body which had been new in March 1970 to Bletchley Self-Drive.

New to Atkinson, Morebattle, in December 1971, MKS566K was a Bedford YRQ with a Caetano Porto bus-grant style C45F body. Although it was still with Atkinson in 1978, he had ceased operation by the time of the photograph, so it was obviously photographed with a subsequent unknown operator.

In 1974 Caetano built three integral Cascais II C45F coaches using Bedford YRQ running units and this one appeared as a demonstrator for Moseley (the importing dealer), Loughborough at the British Coach Rally at Brighton. It was sold to Halford, Kempsey and entered service in February 1976 registered OWP25P.
