Hants & Dorset 1116, FRU827, was a Bristol K5G which had been one of a batch of five new in 1946, originally with ECW L27/28R bodies, which were the first Bristol chassis in the fleet to be fitted with the PV2 low radiator.
In March 1956 it was rebuilt and rebodied with the 1940 ECW L27/26R body from Hants & Dorset 1077 (APR432), its original 1946 body being transferred to Hants & Dorset 1124 (GLJ967) in May 1956. A number of other body exchanges also took place at around this time. In October 1964 it became a driver traning vehicle and it passed to J Whiting (dealer), Barnsley, in May 1972.
