Green Bus Co, Rugeley 40, LJX18, was one of eight AEC Regent V 2D3RA with MCCW H40/32F bodywork, which had been new to Halifax Corporation between January and March 1960.
LJX18 was 18 in the Halifax fleet. It was acquired by Green Bus in April 1970 and passed in November 1973 to BMMO (Midland Red), where it was allocated fleet no 2177 but not operated. In February 1974 it went to Ensign (dealer), Grays and then on to WF Theobald (Theobald's Coaches), Long Melford, in April of that year. It was returned to Ensign in April 1977 and passed to a Carlton dealer for scrap in May 1978.
