Barton, Chilwell 932, 229CNN, was one of the vehicles acquired with the business of Robin Hood (Coaches) Limited, Nottingham in October 1961, which was operated as a wholly owned subsidiary until being absorbed on 31st December 1961.
It was an A.E.C. 2MU3RV Reliance with a Duple C41F body which had been new in April 1959. It was withdrawn in 1971, passing to an unidentified owner in Derbyshire in February 1972, and was used as a racing car transporter - sponsored by Tricentrol, Shefford. It is seen here in the layover area at Victoria Coach Station.
