View of the Tunbridge Avenue works from across the railway with withdrawn Daimlers 265 (on its own on the left) and in the centre 230, 269, 235, 268, 267 and 266. On the far right is what looks like one of the PD3s 333-344 which were in the process of being delivered when this photo was taken (you need to look at the higher resolution photo to see all of them).
The rebodied Southend wartime Daimlers (230-235) can be distinguished from the rebodied ex-London Transport Daimlers (263-275) by the position of the rear number and rear number plate (just above and below the rear downstairs windows) and the front and rear destination box having three distinct glass windows - these rear views of 233 and 269 make this clearer.
