Southdown's 1955 batch of Leyland PD2/12 Park Royal H31/26RD was 765 - 769 with matching OCD registrations. Here 769, OCD769, makes its stately way along Worthing Front on the 31 from Brighton to Southsea soon after the PD2 was new in April 1955.
Another Eric Surfleet photo in Roger Janes' collection. I have just noticed the position of the front fleet number.
