Southdown 1199, EUF99, was another of the 1938 batch of Harrington C32R bodied Leyland TS8 Tigers, but this one did not get subsumed into a Beadle Integral.
It was new 3/38 and was requisitioned by the War Dept in 1940, not being returned until 8/49. It was refitted with a Leyland 8.6 litre oil engine 6/50 and a solid roof with a half-length sliding sunroof replaced its folding roof. The starting handle also seems to have been removed.
It was sold to F.Cowley (dealer), Salford 8/57, and served with a couple of contractors until 1961.
