The remaining 76 pre-war trolleys for Portsmouth had Cravens H26/26R bodies on the favoured AEC 661T chassis and were numbered 25-54 RV8307-8336 and 55-100 RV9106-54 and were delivered between 8/36 and 7/37. 30, RV8312, is on Goldsmith Avenue at the Ruskin Rd stop as the (noticeably all male) football fans head up Frogmore Road to Fratton Park.
30 entered service 8/36,; had 200 added to its fleet number with the rest of the trolleybus fleet in 1938; was comprehensively rebuilt by CPPTD using Metal Sections components 4/55, not being finally withdrawn until 30/9/61.
