Sheffield 264 was fortunate enough to survive the closure of their tramway in October 1960, and is now safely preserved at Crich.
These domed-roof cars represented the peak of traditional non-streamlined tramway design, and were a credit to the skilled craftsmen of the Corporation workshops between 1936 and 1944.
