Also present at the Epping Ongar Railway was Supercar, one of the oddest ever publicity vehicle conversions. This had started life as standard LT Daimler Fleetline/MCW DMS1515 THM515M, but was rebuilt in 1991 to publicise the Travelcard multimodal ticket by adding a section of a tube car and a Network South East EMU.
It is now owned by London Bus Co. Viewed from the rear the section of EMU is prominent and one wonders how LT got away with a vehicle obviously wider than the normal 8 ft 2½ inches.
