Taken on an Omnibus Society trip over a number of Moore’s former routes is preserved 1961 Guy Arab IV/Massey 373WPU (EN 2017).
Moore Bros sold out to Eastern National on 2nd February 1963, bringing to an end 148 years of independent operation, but their former premises at Kelvedon remain in use with Hedingham Omnibuses. The occasion in 1963 was marked by an OS trip which eventually terminated prematurely near Pattiswick, when the Guy Arab saloon had to be dragged out of a snowdrift.
