MXX244 (an AEC Regent with Weymann lowbridge body) was originally bus RLH44 in the London Transport and then London Country fleets.
Withdrawn in 1970, it was converted by LCBS to a mobile uniform store and renumbered 581J.
It is now preserved by Watford based Timebus and was seen here undertaking a photographers demonstration run at the East Grinstead Running Day.
