Request for help from Belgium - in a book about the rolling stock of the NMVB/SNCV (The vicinal Tramways) there is a small amount of information regarding the double-decker buses. In 1946 the NMVB bought 5 ALBION-LEYLAND double-deckers from Glasgow (see the higher resolution photo for more details).
They were normally used for the transport of miners for the colliery in the province of Limburg. They were used from 1946 to 1953 and numbered 279 – 283.
Their Glasgow numbers are not mentioned. A fellow N gauge modeller in Belgium has asked us for for more details including liveries etc
