Nottingham City Transport 28, 28ATO, was one of 32 Leyland PD2/40 with MCCW H37/28R bodywork which had been new between February and May 1958.
Withdrawn in May 1974, it was acquired in September of that year by Phoenix Theatre, Leicester, where it was cut up into sections to form scenery for the show 'Mind Your Midland Red Head'.
