Mansfield District 657 (later B657 from 1972 and then B457 from 1975), FNN159D, was one of five Bristol FLF6G with ECW H38/32F bodywork which had been new in June 1966.
Having come under the control of East Midland from 1 January 1972, the Mansfield fleet was transferred to East Midland in July 1976. Initially retaining fleet no B457, it lost its B prefix in 1976/77 and passed firstly to Amalgamated Passenger Transport Ltd, Bracebridge Heath (dealer) in June 1982 and then to Omnibus Promotions, London WC1 in April 1983. From there it was exported to the USA, also in April 1983, where its identity was swapped with CDL 477C, ex Southern Vectis. It had several owners in America and was converted to partial open-top at some stage. The last recorded change of owner was as recent as 2005.
