Skill's Motor Coaches Ltd, Nottingham 70, 570CTO, was one of a pair of Leyland PD3/1 with Metro-Cammell H40/32F bodies which were new in 1959, this one in February and the other in March.
In September 1970 both were withdrawn and sold to OK Motor Services Ltd, Bishop Auckland, where they ran until 1973. 70 was stripped for spares before passing to Blackett (dealer), Butterknowle, by November 1976, for scrap, while the other saw further service in the north-east, latterly with Jopling Bros, Birtley, where it was withdrawn in March 1978, had become derelict by December 1979 and had gone by 1981.
