Halifax JOC 218, LJX218, an AEC Regent V 2D3RA with Metro-Cammell H40/32F body, new in 1960.
Shortly after this was taken it went on loan to Hebble to assist with a vehicle shortage (a permanent state of affairs at Hebble at the time). Whilst most of the Mk.V's were withdrawn and sold off in about 1970/71 this one survived to pass to the WYPTE as 3218 in 1974, though it didn't survive much longer after that.
The bus washing machine seems to have struggled to deal with the dried on winter road dirt and salt.
It's seen here descending Kell Lane, Stump Cross returning to town from Shibden, by then normally OMO-worked by an L1 Leopard.
