Burnley Corporation Tramways 41 was an Electric Railway & Tramway Carriage Works 44-seat car on Brill 27G bogies. It was one of eight single-deckers purchased in 1903 to operate the newly-opened Rose Grove, Towneley and Summit routes.
They were unusual in having enclosed platforms at such an early date. Circa 1914, the Brill 27G bogies were replaced with "Burnley maximum traction" bogies, designed by Burnley GM Henry Mozley in collaboration with truck-builders Mountain & Gibson.

In the distance can be seen one of the batch of fourteen open-top double-deck Milnes car with Brill 22E bogies, unusually fitted with upper-deck windshields. These cars were given replacement "Burnley" bogies and fitted with balcony top covers between 1911 and 1920. Both cars survived into the combined Burnley, Colne and Nelson Joint Transport Committee era in 1933, but were scrapped following the abandonment of the tramways in 1934-35.

This card was un-posted but written on with a greeting message. It shows car 41 coming off the town terminus crossover in St James' Street before heading to Towneley. The track layout suggests this was sometime circa 1912.
