Barton Transport 793, YRR793, was a reconstructed Leyland PS1/1 (redesignated PS1/B) with a new NCME FL33/30F body which had been fitted in 1959, one of a number of such vehicles from that year.
It had, originally, been registered HTF158 and had been fitted with a Santus C33F body when new to Y Helliwell & Sons Ltd, Nelson, in August 1947. It passed to Kirkby (dealer), North Anston in October 1974 and then to Omnibus Promotions (dealer), London EC1, before being exported to the USA in January 1975.
