Barton, Chilwell 668, NNN968, seen in Huntingdon Street Bus Station was a Barton BTS/1 with a Barton FC39F body and was new in January 1953.
It was one of a number of these which had Leyland E181 engines. It was withdrawn in October 1964, and transferred to the haulage fleet in March 1965, numbered 49, as a transporter, cut down to chassis and cab, for the replica W 963.
