Barton Transport, Chilwell 1077, FVO77D, was one of ten Bedford VAM5 with Plaxton C45F bodywork which had been new in July 1966.
It was acquired in February 1974 by EE Young, Rampton, and in December 1975 by AA Storey, Littleport, who ran it until January 1978. In February 1978 it went to Shepherdson's Coaches, Barton-on-Humber for a year, before going to W Norths (PV) Ltd (dealer), Sherburn-in-Elmet in February 1979.
