Barton Transport, Chilwell 1023, BVO23C, was one of fifteen Bedford SB5 with Harrington Crusader C41F bodywork new between July and September 1965.
It was withdrawn in July 1972 and passed to Moseley Group (PSV) (dealer), Loughborough in September 1973. It then went to Mrs C A Warren (Bluebird Coaches), Neath, by October 1974, and RJ Brown & JR Preddy (Blue Anchor Coaches), Gloucester in October 1976 (until July 1977). It was later noted in the London area with a non-psv owner.
