Len and a group of workmates pose in front of brand new Leyland Titan 2847, VW8822, a TD1 with Leyland L24/24RO body, new to National in March 1929 and passing to Eastern National when it was formed the following year.
2847 received a Gardner oil engine in January 1944 and a new East Lancs L30/26R body in March that year. It was withdrawn in 1951.
