Ex London Transport RF136, AEC 9821LT Regal IV MLL523, is seen here with Nostalgiabus, Mitcham operating one of the Sunday Surrey Hills leisure services, 712, with advertising for the 710 and 70D services on the side board.
It had been the prototype for the modernised RFs being modernised in March 1966 with rounded wheelarches replacing the earlier square ones, and according to Ian's Bus Stop, it was sold to Wombwell Diesels in September 1974 and in November 1991 arrived with Nostalgiabus becoming the regular performer on school service 808 from Stoneleigh to Cheam, High School, stopping outside my house each day to pick up a girl from across the road.
In 1997 it was recorded as being used on the 70D and 710 Surrey Sunday leisure services.
