Seen in Brighton on the H.C.V.C. Rally is Ribble, Preston 2057, RN8622, a Leyland TD5 with an Alexander L27/26R body.
It was new in 1939 with a Burlingham L27/26R body, was rebodied in 1949 and was withdrawn in 1960, passing to Benefit Shoes, Leeds as a staff bus in April 1961 via Millburn Motors (dealer), Preston. After withdrawal by Benefit Shoes it then passed to North (dealer), Sherburn-in-Elmet in January 1968 and to H. Peers, Otley for preservation in December 1969.
