Seen on Madeira Drive in Brighton on the H.C.V.C. Rally is London Transport CR14, FXT120, a Leyland REC (rear engined Cub), a type which was supplied only to London Transport.
The design was developed jointly between Leyland and London Transport engineers. After the prototype was built in January 1938, an order for fifty-nine chassis was placed but, due to the war, only forty-eight were delivered. All had London Transport B20F bodies.
