The old Snow Hill Bus Station in St. Helier, by then in use as a car park, showing the turntable which had been used to turn the buses.
John's wife, Joyce, is standing by the loading bay shelters on the left whilst their son, Michael, plays on the turntable.
The second photo shows the access road to the former Snow Hill Bus Station, by then in use as a car park, with a notice prohibiting cycling and an apparently abandoned car. Presumably the board used to show "Snow Hill Bus Station", before being amended after the closure.
