Eastern National 128, LPU685, seen at Braintree was a Duple C35F bodied Leyland PS1 which Westcliff had acquired in 1952 from City Coach Company to whom it had been new in 1947 carrying fleet number LS6. Control of Westcliff passed to Eastern National in 1952 as compensation for the loss of half its area with the transfer of the midland area services to United Counties. It was transferred to Eastern National in 1955 when the subsidiary companies were wound up.
