Southend Fleetline 364, WJN364J, on route 66 to Shoebury Common, soon after the bus station opened.
These journeys used to be short workings on the main 7 route, but after the 7 was diverted away from Shoebury Common to run via Maplin Way and Church Road, a new number was needed. As they ran summer only, 66 was chosen to be in series with the open top seafront routes 67/68.
