Leeds City Transport single deck rail car 600 which was rebuilt in the Kirkstall works over a period of years finally entering service in 1954, now preserved at the Crich tramway museum.
It was based on a Sunderland car dating from 1931 bought for experimental use in 1944. The closure of the system meant the car had little use prior to withdrawal in 1957 two years before the end of trams in Leeds.
