Feltham 566, in the fully lined-out livery, is seen in Wellington Street showing Ciity Square as its destination.
It will not quite reach that point, since it will turn using the crossover near to the Majestic Cinema. City Square was closed to traffic to enable track removal at the Park Row/Boar Lane junction following the closure of the Lawnswood tram route the previous evening, and the routes to the west terminated at the 'Majestic' crossover in Wellington Street, a short distance from City Square.
566 which had arrived from London on 3rd July 1951, and had been painted on 1st February 1952, eventually entered service on 18th March 1955 and was last used in service on 10th October 1957, being burned in the yard of Johnson's of Churwell on 4th April 1959.
