Pontypridd UDC 51, GNY915, was a Beadle B32R bodied Bristol L6G which had entered service in May 1947.
It was rebuilt by Longwell Green in June 1955, when the front destination box was removed and replaced by a curved front dome with a single line destination display, as shown on another photo on the site. It was largely relegated to towing duties in 1968 but was reinstated briefly in April 1972 before being returned to the ancillary fleet as a recovery vehicle in June 1973. It transferred to the new Taff-Ely Borough Council with the rest of the fleet on 1 April 1974, as a recovery vehicle, until it was formally withdrawn in April 1978, It passed into preservation in March 1980 and had a number of owners in the UK before being acquired by one in Antwerp in 1998. It then undertook a rebuild, completed in 2000, emerging painted red with 'South Wales' fleetnames and advertising itself as 'The London Ceremony Bus for Hire'.
