West Yorkshire PTE (Calderdale District) 3282, CJX322C, a Leyland Titan PD2/37 with Weymann H36/28F body, new in 1965 to Halifax JOC (282).
This was the last vehicle to retain the Halifax green, orange and cream livery, by which time it was looking decidedly down at heel. 3282 had taken a short clockwise loop from Towngate around an estate to reach the terminus, from where it would turn right into Towngate for its return journey to town. Although rear route number indicators were fitted to these later Halifax vehicles, their use had long since been discontinued - except on the rare occasions that I had been conducting, in which case I would make myself very unpopular with the conductor taking over !
