A J.W. Campbell & Sons Ltd bus, believed to be LTW470, Albion CX13/Strachan B32F new 1946, which became EN 005 but never ran for them, coming up Station Lane to Pitsea War Memorial, with the High Road running left to right.
New road layouts and development of the New Town have obliterated all of this layout. On the hill is St Michael's Church, of which only the tower remains following removal of the then derelict remainder in 1998.
