Colchester 1, OHK429, was a Daimler CVD6 with a Roberts H30/26R body, and is seen in Colchester.
It was the first of five which were new in 1949 (1 & 2 in March, 3,4,5 in April) and was withdrawn in 1966, passing to Palmer Brothers (dealer), Colchester in March 1966. The P.S.V. Circle Fleet History, PF7, records that a further order for five identical buses was cancelled and they were delivered to Accrington (123-126, LTB204-207 and Brown’s Blue, Markfield FNR273).
