Blackpool 618 was originally new in July 1935, numbered 271, but was lengthened and rebuilt by the Corporation, with tapered ends, in 1968.
Its seating capacity was increased from 52 to 56 at the same time. It was substantially rebuilt as one-man car 13, entering service in June 1976. Withdrawn in 1984, it was scrapped in March 1985.
