Charles W Banfield Ltd, London SE15, EMP799B was a Bedford VAL14 with Duple Vega Major C52F bodywork, one of four new in April and May 1964 and seen here participating in the 10th British Coach Rally that year.
It was allocated fleet no 80 around March 1966. Withdrawn in May 1971, it passed initially to Moseley (dealer), Loughborough before being acquired by Webb, Armscote, who ran it until May 1982. It finished its days as a mobile cafe on the A500 between April 1983 and July 1985.
