West Yorkshire PTE 2271, FKY271E, a Daimler Fleetline CRG6LX/30 with MCW H43/31F bodywork, is seen here at the top end of Main Street, Bingley.
Originally delivered new to Bradford CT as its 271 in early 1967, it was the first of a batch of fifteen Fleetlines delivered to Bradford that year (271-285: FKY271-285E). 2271 is standing outside the Myrtle Walk Shopping Precinct. Previously the area had been waste ground (or "spare ground" as some locals called it) for quite some time. Where the frontage of the Precinct now stands, used to be a substantial stone-built shelter and toilet block, behind which was an area that Hebble Motor Services used as its bus station.
