MLL759 was one of 65 AEC Regal IV with Park Royal bodies new to British European Airways (BEA) in 1952 and 1953.
They were fitted with 37 bus seats. They were owned by BEA and operated under BEA PSV licences, although they were registered by London Transport using two blocks of registration numbers which had been reserved for LT, which was also the registered keeper for motor tax purposes. The body was designed by London Transport in conjunction with Park Royal Vehicles specifically to meet the needs of the airline.
After withdrawal, MLL759 passed, by February 1968, to WJ Grimshaw (Brackley Coaches), Brackley but was not operated, passing again, circa February 1969, to Mrs JE Grimshaw (JE Coaches), Brackley, who licensed it in May 1969. It was withdrawn in October 1969. By April 1971 it had become mobile living accommodation, based initially in Norfolk, and then Suffolk around 1976. By January 1979 it was still owned but out of use.
