Burlingham bodied Leyland Leopard L1 XWO911 delivered new to Hills of Tredegar on 3rd June 1960. This was the first Burlingham bus bodied Leopard built and the first Leopard delivered to a U.K. independent operator and has been restored in Hills livery by Wayne Roberts & Jim Rees of the Pontypool Bus & Coach preservation Society.
XWO911 was saved from being scrapped in June 1995. Extensive structual work was carried for two years prior to its new paintwork and MOT in July 1997. The first public showing after restoration was at the Tredegar House vintage vehicle show, Newport in September 1997.
